I'm looking for some good ole fashion help with detailing my trunk.
8T03S-01425 was built on 02/14/1968, it's a white car with black interior and top. It also has the early style recessed side reflectors.
I need the correct:
- trunk floor mat
- luggage protector strip
- side reflector screw caps (Are they used in my car?)
- location information for the trunk stickers and decals
Pictures would be a tremendous help.
Thanks,
Steve
Here are a few from my car. If you would like more let me know.
Chris

my car has a ford replacement mat in it, like the speckeled ones (circa 74) was listed as burtex, my original looks more like the one with rust stains. the taillamp covers look to light, may just be the flash. phred

Believe those are being reproduced but sold under a different description
If anyone knows who is reproducing them and/or what the description is please let me know.

Thank you Nooboob!
Regarding the trunk mat installation on a convertible... I have seen original cars with the mat underneath the divider board, the flat screws going through the board, then the mat and into the body.
That red convertible in the pics above had some work done to it, so I would use the pics with caution. I always thought it was a nice Unrestored example until studying all the pics closely.
Charles
Do you have any picture that show what you describe above with the screw?
Thanks
Chris

I looked and couldn't find any pics. Had a '68 metuchen convertible that I worked on a few years ago that had not been restored and had that type of setup.

Not sure which red convertible you were referring to in the prior post (there were two in the post I posted)
Didn't have a picture of the mat, board and screw but had one of the screw where the mat was likely torn out and the board broken away that might help a little

This one... these are pics I provided from a car at the MCA national in Va Beach in the late 90's.

Thanks - that is the same car as the last two in my first picture post. Just wanted to cross reference for the viewers

No worries. It's a good reference car, but things here and there don't add up, so suspect it had been 'played' with a bit. Had to correct some items that were copied from that car on the '68 I have now.
