Paul Olivas is the co founder of our club, Aloha Mustang & Shelby Club of Hawaii. He started it in 1979 because he loved driving a Mustang convertible in parades and was bored with retirement. Paul just celebrated his 100th birthday on August 22nd. Paul is a 101st Airborne veteran of WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He was one of those who jumped on D-Day in Normandy.
For his 100th birthday he decided that he wanted to do a jump again so he went skydiving (wearing one of our club shirts). Oh, he walks without a cane, has survived two knee replacements and two bouts with cancer. And he still dives a 65 Mustang and a 67 Karman Ghia VW and renews his license every two years.

Yes, it was my birthday two days and many years before Paul, but he is the 100 year old veteran, not me.
What a great American!! Wish I could shake his hand.
An inspiration, Happy B-day and thanks.
