Hi all, my gt500 (602) was a Shelby DSO -ordered 12/09/69 built 1/29/69 - then off to the east coast sales office and then to the Jay Dugan advertising agency. My question is how many other Shelby DSO cars are out there? and production date?
I dont understand the question, all production 1969 Shelbys were built under DSOs. The number of cars on each specific DSO varies.
Unlike a Mustang, DSOs do not specify the shipping designation of a Shelby.
Sorry DSO is 687A Dealer 86S106 - sold too "Shelby Automotive Co INC" Marketing office.
So, if understand your question, you are asking how many cars were assigned to Shelby ?
The answer is easily over three dozen. Over two dozen cars were assigned to engineering for testing and evaluation. There were cars assigned to executives, regional sales managers, a pool of drivers and other people of influence
And by over three dozen I mean like 148.
Thats according to a quick count by the 1969 registrar.
🙃
Thank you Mr Liska

Yes Thank You for all your help and assistance :)
And to all of the other Registry personnel.
Thanks for the information, I would guess that the production date are all over the place then.
They were produced during the entire year.
