Title: 65 GT350 Lowering the Upper Control Arm
Post by: mygt350 on October 14, 2018, 05:40:16 PM
When the upper control arm was moved 1 inch, did they do anything to the coil spring as in cut a coil off or was coil replaced and then aligned?

Nothing extra was done to the coil. It was simply replaced. I assume they aligned but don't remember seeing a historical picture of that station

Bob, replaced or re-installed?  I thought they used the regular HiPo handling package spring ( RPO part) ?

thanks

[/quote] After taking the coil out for the drop procedure the same coil was replaced or put back . Reinstalled would have been more clear
