Hi---Is there any common mistake in correctness  that instalers make on 69 Shelbys---thank you

Lining up the front end of the stripe with the rear end section is the most common error IMO. The rear end stripe middle section is supposed to be centered over the rear marker light opening. Besides that the cut out for the opening at the rear marker light was done by cutting a X into the material and folding the material inside the opening .There should be triangle sections of stripe seen from the trunk side in each direction from the sides of the marker light opening. Most restorers just cut out a rectangle hole in the stripe material at that spot.
