sorry ,  I couldn't resist .   I looked at a car recently and this is how the rear emblem was mounted ;D

clamp is dated and towel is signed by CS  and Initialed by Peter Brock

What is the correct fabric and color for the towel?  Is there any over-stain that should be present?   ::)

This attachment/detachment method comes in handy when you don't want cars that you plan on passing to know what just went by them.  :)
