Title: BARDAHL Bump
Post by: SFM66H on January 05, 2019, 07:02:50 PM
I'm throwing this ad out here again, because:

In over 45 years of being in the Shelby hobby, I had never heard of Shelby American being involved with (or using) BARDAHL oil, and I certainly had never seen or even heard of this October 1966 ad before.

Am I the only one late to this party? Has this been pretty well known to '67 owners all along?

6S1750 is a black 66 that was affiliated with Bardahl.
It's listed in the most recent Registry as blue but that car is black and that will be updated in the new edition some day.

Car is owned by a buddy. WAs restored by Sean at BossKraft and took silver at SAAC 36 VIR.

Micro-Lube was another oil additive that SAI seems to have endorsed, SAIs 1964 team race cars had their stickers on the cars.

Bigfoot - Interesting footnote about 6S1750's history that I did not know.

Thanks!
