Well, in 2009 prices took a dive andthey have never fully recovered
Color change,nom......etc
originally sold at bj for $250k in 2006
just sold at bj for $100k in 2019
At that money there has gotta be more than meets the eye.
I gotta say I like the way it looks.
Seems to have been for sale a bunch of times.
I think Mikes Classic Cars had it for sale about 8+ years ago.
In my opinion a very good price if it´s a real deal with the numbers and sheetmetal original. Who knows the car was long time in mexico so you dont know the whole story. Maybe Dave know something more about it.
and it comes with the red rockers provenance....go sammy go!

Sammy was selling it himself in 2006, he also threw in a bunch of extra swag, and if memory serves me correctly, there may have even been a charity involved in some way, shape, or form.
2019, none of the above applied. "once owned by" no longer brings in the massive amount of extra money as it used to be.
great point bill

Sold for the exact same price at BJs two years ago. I wonder what the owner found that convinced him to sell again.

Oh yes I also would like to know that "secret" behind the car I think it has to do with the mexico life
"I wonder what the owner found that convinced him to sell again."
Easy! The "Caution-Fan" sticker!
Steve
Sammy sold it for $250 = 45,000 buyer & Seller premium
Sold 2 years ago for $100 = 18,000 in fees
Sold this year for $100 again - another !8,000
BJ has made $81,000 selling this car.
They made $96,000 selling a Heritage FGT just one time this weekend.
These cars aint what they used to be, dying generation, and a new generation that does not want to own anything...That would be a responsibility you know. I feel that car was cheap even though it had a color change. I personally do not like color changes but, I would have bought it for that amount if it was dangled in front of me.
I do not watch BJ only because I feel they ruined the hobby. We threw our TV away back in 2008, and have not so far looked back, although if I paid attention to the auctions, just maybe...
True words, but I think a good fastback or shelby will always keep his value. I´m 35 years old and I love the old shelby´s and fastbacks. Maybe it will need some years for the younger generation to come in this muscle car era cars but when they are infected with the virus it will never go away ;-)
