Here is an original photo of my inner trunk lid c/w silver decal. Only a small remnant of the tire change decal remains.

Below is the lid with new paint and decals.

For the trunk decals I will not make a great big difference but if you provide the body style and even when the car was built approximately we might be able to provide an example from about the same time and on a similar sized and shaped trunk lid. Though the exaple Chris provided should help

Just trying to help and provide more for you and others that will look for the same information in the future ;)

Thanks Chris and Jeff.

It's a Fastback July 2 build date.

Any pictures of the decal behind the Rear Licence plate ?

Jeff is all about the dates. He is correct. There may be a slight variance depending on the date. The fastback vs convertible trunk lids are different sizes as well.

My car is a fastback Jan 16 build. Thanks for keeping me on my toes Jeff.

ALWAYS a good place to start for details and pictures for 68 Shelby's is Pete Disher's site

Here is a link to a page of that site showing some additional pictures that should help.

Pete has spent allot of time researching and collecting and it shows

Here is a picture of the jack instructions from a car similar to yours

You'd think I knew that since I spent lots of time on his site and now that you put in front of my nose I remember seeing it before....

Thanks

Picture added above... had to reboot before I could add it to the earlier post.

No problem - we all need help remembering things at time.   Happy to be the one that helped out this time

Well Jeff you helped me out other times too, even when I got you down to San Diego in 2010 to inspect my White/gold 66 GT350H.

I've still got it and its been a great car

Thanks again.

Yep the collection is growing and the hoists in the garage are filling.

Just need the time to keep driving them.
