What is this fuel pump for? I do not have information to refer to.
Thanks,
Keith

Keith. 3939 is an original hipo double spring pump. I think you found gold lol. It does not have a button top for some reason. Rick
Looks like there is more to that date code. The phone camera can see better than my eyes. Looks like 5H5A
Thanks,
Keith
I had one before without a button top so I sold it. This came with a motor I bought on Tuesday, I am thinking it is original to that motor. Button top is a big question?
A couple of more pictures.
Keith,
This looks to be a later 3939 service replacement made after the button top style was phased out. I believe the date code in this case is August 5th, 1975.
Dave
Does it one or two springs installed?
I just see one.
Agree. Service part if no button and only one spring.
65 289 used the integral fuel filter like that pump. A service replacement part that does not look like the assemblyline pump regardless of if the flange number matches a hipo number or not. Sorry to say that one is not of any real value. 10-15.00 maybe to the right person who doesn't want to spend money on a new 60.00 replacement and will take a chance that it works to save money. Just my observations. Others may have different.
Thanks everyone for your help
