Title: 67owners manual
Post by: jerry merrill on May 27, 2019, 01:15:37 AM
I used to own a 67 GT500 and I still have what is left of the original owners manual and I noticed that on the backcover it says Shelby Automotive and not Shelby American. It is printed in black and white and the car # was about 1500 or so. Any thoughts on this?

The black and white manual was one that was printed after 67 production had ceased.  That is why the name and address is different. It is a replacement if needed to the one that came with the cars . It is still a legitimate Shelby manual just one that could have been procured later after production ceased from Ford if a dealer or owner misplaced the original .
