Title: Hood hinges

Shelby--69 Hood hinges--natural metal or phoshpate----is part # stamped on them---how to identify original---Fortunately there are rebuild original available, however I would like to know how to make sure that one on the car now is or is not original--thank you

hood ledge ? Do you mean hood peak molding. That is the stainless molding on the front edge of the hood.

Phosphate on latch and hinges. No engineering number on them, just date codes.
