Nice looking car. I was not aware the scuff plate did not come with a SA label covering the ford label in '65. I would have thought otherwise, since the cars were Shelby American produced.

Logical assumption however it was not the case. SA scuff plate labels had not been implemented yet.SA didn't have everything figured out from the get go.
Thanks for the clarification.

Many other Shelby's as well. Looks like a number of Denbeste cars.

The pictures are really well done. At first glance it looks like it might be a model car! Everything is so "glossy" and in focus.
estimate +/- $500,000?
It appears this car sold yesterday for $417,500. I think well bought.
did that include premium or just hammer price?
Nice car, looks really well done
I wonder if it was numbers matching?
That was so carefully worded it was both eloquent and made me feel like I should call my lawyer.
Very nice car.
I believe it has been in Denbeste's since the owner passed away (?).
Too bad pics aren't of higher resolution.
I've heard (but haven't verified) that it is a Conover restoration.
Note the 6" wheels.
Bill DenBeste is
NOT dead! I promise you - This car was/is a stunning Tony Conover restoration - It was a very good buy for the bidder/winner/new owner

Stephen,
I did not mean to infer that Bill DenBeste had passed. Sorry for any confusion induced. It was my belief that the owner of this car prior to being in Bill's showroom. Perhaps I'm incorrect? Pls advise.
Thanks

Good question - I am not familiar with former owners - They are all listed in the SAAC registry
Best!
