Title: Where to Get Good Work in Texas
Post by: vorpl8 on June 14, 2019, 09:23:53 AM
Hello,

New to this forum, and have a 1965 that runs very well, but would like to have someone who cares and knows vintage Mustangs go over the car from front to back, tune, tighten things like door handles, check the brakes, etc. I live in west Texas, so no one close I know of, willing to trailer to southern New Mexico of Texas. Just would really appreciate recommendations.

Thx

David

Have you tried joining a classic car club in your area ?  Those people are going to be your best source for recommendations of  local or nearby shops who "are in the know".  Also will be able to help you locate parts, etc.

Craig Chesley in the Tyler, TX area would probably know some places.

Paul Marvin and Rick Thompson (both members, here) would be good TX '65 contacts for you.
