Curious what anyone knows about the third lowest line color would be? I did find and reapplied my stencil numbers in yellow!?
What kind of yellow paint did you use? I have a stencil and would like to know what kind of paint to use.

Is this a manual or automatic driveline and from what production period ?
Interesting to see that your car received a driveline with the stencil tube number on it. Most didn't
If there is any remains of the original color anf you can't make it out for sure or just want confirmation a little daub of lye (oven cleaner works) will cause the paint to lift and bubble exposing a watered down but visible color of you to see. Happens quickly and once done paint is gone. Just one technique that others have had success with
Here are photos of my driveshaft laying on the tailgate of my F150. It is original to my 66 Shelby with 4 speed.
The painted stripes are dark green, dark blue and a light blue. I submerged the driveshaft in Evapo-rust and matched the revealed painted areas as best I could. Used Testors paint and applied the stripes with a brush. Since I could not find any school bus yellow paint, I spray painted the stenciled marking Rust-oleum golden sunset. Also used liquid gun blue to replicate a welded look on parts of the shaft. All inspired by a J Speegle article on restoring driveshafts.

If your a member over on the ConcoursMustang site it's in the Library section (has subsections for all the different years and Shelby's but is in each one of the subsections)

Need to mention but its not normal but did happen that a worker at the driveline supplier to reverse the order of the marking stripes.
For those that just copy what they see on other's peoples cars' ;)

King chief I used " sunlit yellow by Krylon; And it seem to match the original yellow I found on my driveshaft very well ; I had to make sure the stencil is tight and spray lightly
Jeff always thanks! Mine was built April 8th through 18th 1966 and a hertz auto trans ! And funny how I accidentally found my stencil by light steel wooling and the " Mona Lisa" appears!!!! ( Shelby American installed the radio 4/8/66( line 11) 1680
My wonderful wife has eyes that see colors better than a mans eye ! She is seeing Lavender " !!

Standard warning. Pictures taken with digital cameras posted and viewed on out monitors and phones are often different to very different to what they look like up close and personal. One of the reasons I cut a section of floor (just an extreme example) of a floor to retain the original color for later used when I can rather than rely on just pictures. Sometimes picture and recall of how close it was is all I get

Been gone all day but have waiting until I can check my notes and pictures others have provided over the decades and as in the past IMHO there is not enough solid info to suggest with any certainty what your missing color would be. It would be great if we had all the answers but at times we don't. Consider that you can wait and apply the third color at a later date and also consider that if you add one that you are not certain of you may lead others to copy and reproduce the same on their cars. This is how some things get started ::)
Sorry - don't have all the answers - guess none of us may :)
