Title: Roll bar ear's bolts
Post by: JessC on July 20, 2019, 10:36:59 AM
I'm building a 1967  Gt350" Clone" not to pass it off as real one. This will NOT be a half A@@ clone !
I have the Branda Roll bar for it  What bolts are used to mount to roof inner side thru ears on roll bar? I have  2 bolts that look like seat belt mounting bolts but smaller in Dia. and longer with same style of bolt head. also ideas on a "nut plate for inside roof  structure .
Thanks, Jess

The Branda bar does not look like the original roll bar

The original bar uses the original Mustang seat belt and shoulder harness bolts and roof mounting points.

would the shoulder harness mounting bolts on  mustang  be smaller in Dia. and  longer than seat belt mounting bolts?

Same size. I think they are 7/16 NF thread? I think though that the roof bolts use a larger hex head then the belts? Yellow cad plated.
