Title: Shelby wood shift knob
Post by: aboss4tg on September 14, 2019, 02:33:01 PM
I have what I believe is the correct wood shift knob with the Cobra emblem from my 69 Shelby that came with the car when I purchased 15 years ago. Have another one but noticed a difference between them, one measure 3 1/2" and the other is 3 3/4"
Both are virtually identical in contour other than the measurement.
I know they have been reproduced but these show a lot of wear with nice patina and have seen the repo's where the emblem is not recessed properly.
Were there multiple applications and manufacturers or just because the wood is hand made?

Hi aboss4th,

I side by side picture of the two would be helpful.

3 +1/2 seems to be the typically variety.
