Title: #37

Anybody know this car ? It's in North Carolina. It's going to be auctioned in Feb.  In the pictures I noticed the Shelby vin plate is not present. Emailed Dave already.
Thanks in advance
Jerome

To be honest, I was looking at it.  It was the showing car for Chicago back in the '66, so good chance it has had rust repair, or needs it.  It also doesn't have it's original engine, in fact there's not even a hipo currently installed, just a 302.  They make a claim about it being a 'dealer installed Paxton', but that's a bit of malarkey to quote Joe Biden.  It has a cool stance, but seems to be missing quite a few of it's original early components, most importantly being the uber rare one piece slanted front grill.

I'm going to be at the auction, contact me if you want to hang out when it goes to bid.

Noticed the same thing on the 66 they had in the auction. Its the same owner so maybe he/she is removing them for some reason or something the auction house is doing

Odd But maybe I didn't get the memo about the new trend   ::).

It's a pretty small auction company out of Greensboro, NC.  Sort of the Hillbilly Barrett Jackson of North Carolina.

Yet I have seen some super desirable cars go thru them.

About a year ago they had a super low mile, one owner all original '67 Eldorado, charcoal gray with a red leather interior 😍

I love those.

Couldn't help but notice this: Same dealer delivered on the same day as mine (#0036), right door has an outside rear veiw mirror, same as mine.  Bet there is a story there.
