I suspect it will be before that unless the Corona virus shakes things up, so get your information and photos to the 67 Registrar at dmathews@prodigy.net

I have nothing on #2088 in my files which contains about 1/3 of '67 production.
Maybe you'll get lucky with Dave.
It might be best to just PM him rather than your question getting lost in this registry thread.

Do present owners get to proof or ask questions regarding their registry text ?

I had a question on a notation on mine that could be read 2 different ways which could be cleared up IMHO.

Thanks.

And, if you didn't receive yours, to call Howard Pardee and complain loudly and often.

It was last reported in the registry owned by the folks who bought after you. from Bend, OR....sold in Seattle Washington to ???
Sales ad attached with many photos. Give Dagers' a shout, maybe they can put you in touch with the buyer?

Also, you might try contacting the '67 Registrar. He might be able to help put you in touch with the current owners...maybe.

I got the 66 Registry, love it!

I do not have a 67 Registry, HATE it!

All kidding/busting aside....I got my renewal notice in an email, my reply was..."I will rejoin, at the same time that I can buy the 67 registry." I just wanted to make it simple and buy both at the same time. I got a reply email, stating how important it is to be a member, and I am thinking, NO, it is more important to know what I/WE  might be buying. I am thinking of just waiting to join SAAC when the 67 registry can be bought also. Thats it, no anger, just convenience.

Its kind of like this, "they" want to inject kids, in order to go to school, my advice, if you can is pull them out of school and know they are safer.

When it's done, it's done and when it's ready to print they will print it and when it's ready to be sold it will be sold and when it's ready to be shipped shipped.

By the way and you do realize that these registrars are volunteers. These are unpaid positions that these guys give their hard earned and valuable time to in order to get cars registered in the registries and to follow up on the registries and to keep tabs on everything.

A voluntary non-paid position!!

You're asking the wrong person. It's at the Editorial level. Kopec is the Editor. Ask him.

It could be the printers. Some businesses during the Covid-19 have virtually shut down. Only the Editor would have those answers?

I don't think asking once or twice a year for a couple of years is harping..... and personally the C-19 excuses are getting old, because in some cases it has become a convenience for poor customer service.... well hell, let's just blame Covid.

It certainly hasn't hurt the delivery of our yearly annuals ....... and BTW thank you for those. As always very well done.

As I said, the only one that can answer that question is the Editor himself.

Check out his post totals on this Forum 2.0. I'll save you the time. Zero. He's been a non-participant. That speaks volumes.

So you may be probing at an answer that you don't really want to know the answer to.

There is the possibility that you will never see it.

We're like the kids in the back seat, "Are we there, yet?"

Just like the perennial: "Where and when is the Convention."

No one may have the answer, but that doesn't stop the question.

If nobody cared, nobody would ask,

I hate to say this, but why are there people that dont care for others asking? I also hate to say, but I dont think I will renew my SAAC membership until it is available for us all, (no matter how much we "nag") to buy and receive. Sorry but at this point that is the way I feel. Ya'll do what you want to do.
I have a 66 registry, thank you!
I am waiting for my 67 registry, its like you want something from someone and they keep saying, "Due to COVID, we do not have any toilet paper." What do you do? you ask, OK when will it be back in stock? they say, 3 days, you say, OK I will be back. You go back and make your purchase. I mean....WHAT UP?
OK bring on the attacks because I have waited for over a year for a book.

I've chimed in on this topic a couple times over the last year.  Here's my current observation:

The 1967 Shelby Registry is done as far as SAAC is concerned and is in the hands of the printer.  To my knowledge, no one at SAAC works for the printing company that was selected to produce the printed Registry.  As such, no one at SAAC is in a position to urge things along, other than inquiring regularly what the timeline is for availability from the printer.  With revised date information, interested SAAC members could then be updated regularly as to when one might expect the announcement regarding the For Sale date of said Registry.  This would likely alleviate many of the inquiries related to the availability.

I agree that there is the widespread appearance globally of "It's because of Covid", and there is likely overuse of said "excuse".  I think it's safe to say that the entity who printed the 2021 SAAC Annual is not the one chosen to produce the 1967 Registry.

I own every printed SAAC Registry dating to 1976, so obviously I'm a consumer of information, particularly that concerning anything produced by Shelby during the 1960s.  I'm as eager as anyone to receive the email saying that the 1967 Registry is available for purchase.  But I've learned that there are circumstances beyond my control in terms of this project, and that the constant "Are we there yet?" banter is obviously grating on certain individual's nerves, and I understand that.

Having said that, I am just grateful for what I do have in terms of reference material related to these automobiles.  These cars wouldn't be what they are today without this club and all who have contributed to its success.

Santa can't always deliver on wishes, but I am certain he always does his best.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I got to wonder....
How would the Cobra owner's deal with no registry?
How would the 65 Shelby owner's deal with no registry?
How would the 68 Shelby owner's deal with no registry?
How would the 69+ Shelby owner's deal with no registry?
So, we are led to think that the 67 registry was sent to the printer last? I will assume the best and think that there was a larger amount of info, thus it was sent in after every other year was? Yes, I am making noise....I will hold back. I would not want to be thought of poorly.

Maybe the above last line is a hint that it will come out the week after Thanksgiving???

The 1967 Registry is not the last one.  The newest version of the 1969-1970 Registry has yet to be released.  And the 1968 Registry likely contains far more information than the 1967 Registry as there were many more cars built for 1968.  I'm not sure why the 1968 Registry was released prior to the 1967 Registry, that's a question for the higher ups.

The "Happy Thanksgiving" was just that.  Nothing more than a closing remark to my post, not speculation nor hinting.

Where do you come up with all of your stuff? "FL SAAC", LOL. I had a friend up north who was the same way!!! Its hard to keep quiet, but easy to sit on a sofa and look at stuff!!
If its not the 67 Registry its yellow lettering on tires that are bothering me today! Ahhhh, I have a great life, if that is all that bothers me! (actually, there is much more that "really" bothers me)....I bet we can guess that stuff also.
