Not mine/no affiliation.  So, there's an orig. '68 hood w/ louvers for sale on FB in S. Hampton, NY-no latch and needs some repair work but for $500.00 it might work for someone. 

Thanks Pete-so, possible that they are off the same car as perhaps 2 of the wheels were not recalled?  Or, did all wheels fall under the recall program regardless of prior bad acts so to speak.

I'm looking at an original/used set of wheels for a '69/'70 Shelby-no center caps...  Buyer is listing two of them as "the riveted type".  Guessing they are probably not off the same car?  And, what's up with riveted vs. not riveted.

May need an '86 GT w/ very low miles inspected in what they call Far Northeast Philly near West Torresdale and right off 95.   

I live on the Cape-90 minutes from this guy.  I'll call him but I bet Bret beat me to it...

Incredible that a seller of this sort of car-in the world we live in today-could be so god damn stupid by going public with what should be and very easily could be confidential info.  And then doing it on a public forum in full view of every governmental branch known to mankind.  And flaunting the rules of Ebay all the while.  I cry foul-it's a bunch of bs.  Bret hit it spot on-if he truly has the 150k offer in cash, you end the auction and make the deal.  Nice and quiet.  No eyes and ears on the process.  Ebay needs to step in and end the auction and let this guy flap in the wind...

Looking for a driver '69 or '70 GT350 convertible.  4spd preferred but not a deal breaker.  Easy project also considered. 

I find the entire auction process with ABB to be totally unclear and even a bit suspicious.  Refundable deposit-the higher the deposit the more you can bid.  And, if you don't win, you then have to log back on to claim your deposit-no thanks.  Terrible listing-no pic. of the dash tag, no underside pics., no info. on block #'s etc.  And now you might, might not have to be a "dealer" to bid.  Tells me they either don't care, don't know or just don't give a shit.  From the listing, I had no idea when the auction was set to start and end and, when I called, the girl told me that the length of the auction depends on the level of interest... might be 30 minutes, might be several hours.  Bottom line for anyone interested in the car is that it needs to be inspected (if they'll allow it) and then some thorough homework done on the legalities of the deposit and bidding process.  Just another f-up auction house that churns and burns their inventory with no thought given to what they're actually selling-imo.

Agreed on the 20k posts-that aside, all I'm asking for is whether anyone on this Forum has any relevant info. on knowledge on the car before I do/don't decide to bid.  The listing and pics are terrible and I don't know the auction house.
