Plans are in place to have the 60th Anniversary GT40 Reunion at Pitt Race next summer in conjunction with the running of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historic Races. The event will be similar to last year's SAAC-48 event which was also integrated with the PVGP events. It will be also open to all the different mfg/variants of the FORD GT. Options for open tracking, parade laps and competition level sessions along with a show field that will also include special interest FORD powered vehicles. Many of us who went to SAAC-48 saw one of the PVGP motorsports events that weekend with the practice and running of the "Historics Races" at the PITT Race track. These are for the bigger bore and ground pounders that are too powerful to run on the city streets through Schenley Park.

See the video link for a preview along with information about the events and ability to live stream the Schenley Park races. The live stream will also include fill in videos taken at SAAC-48 which will feature interviews with Pete Brock, Chuck Cantwell, Aaron Shelby, and Gary Patterson.

Maybe more specific descriptions are needed as there is a paper identification on the axle housing for the assembly and a metal identification on the differential sub assembly. "Tag" could possibly be applied to each one.

Used Wheels are pretty nice not perfect but definitely way above average for originals. Dry climate saved the back sides from usual surface rusting

2023 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix poster

Toronto artist Tavis Coburn created this magnificent poster. His unique style is inspired by 1940s comic book art, the Russian avant-garde movement, and printed materials from the forties and fifties. Over the years Tavis' work has garnered many accolades, including top honors from The Society of Publication Designers and the Society of Illustrators.

The striking poster depicts a 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta on the track with a 1963 Shelby Cobra 289 FIA Roadster in hot pursuit, the way they would have raced 60 years ago. The Ford vs Ferrari theme mirrors the fact that the PVGP is honoring both Ferrari and Shelby this summer.
