That's the last we'll know about that car.

Ed, do you know if the are splined near the flat head to lock them in place and can you just punch them out to remove?

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Gravel Guard question

For the studs on the gravel guard, are these just bolts threaded thru from the other side then cut and welded? I can see a dimple on the opposite side. I think both of mine are snapped. Thanks

Hey Bob, I agree considering they removed the lace pieces. Probably looking for the screws that hold them on. Also, why take the clock and not the instrument cluster. Have to wonder if the cops showed up while they were stripping it down.

Hey Gary, I'll get some pics of my original when I get home from Maryland on Sunday.

Hey Dan, if it's a Jersey thing, it's Taylor ham. To everybody else it's pork roll.

I'll have to check and see if there are multiples but the one I looked at the other day had a stud broken. My wife is dealing with the same problem. ;D

If I have to go repop, which manufacturer/vendor has the best fitting piece?
#12
Are the Carpenter ones still available and are they the best fitting? I see a lot of vendors selling ACP.
#13
Is there more than 1 manufacturer of this piece or are they all made by the same vendor? (Referring to the repops)
#14
No problem. I saw it there and another one of the Mustang sites.

Hey Gary, We're on vacation on the Outer Banks so I had plenty of time to look for the article I saw. I was going to try it on the caps on my Fairlane but never got around to it before I sold it. Just did the ole off & on deal when I got to the shows or cruises.
