1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Re: 4567s differences

Of course 70 Shelby as well. Every original 68 J code I’ve seen has said Carter USA on it. Seeing as your other pumps have ford part #’s I have no doubt they came on Ford engines but can’t say for sure what plants   Remember Ford installed small blocks in a bunch of plants other than nj,sj and Dearborn

Metuchen plant was supplied by Carter USA and typically will have that in the casting. As a side note Dearborn was supplied by Carter Canada so 68 and 69 (GT 350) would have CARbureTUR made in canada in the casting

Ironically it was the lowest horsepower of all year GT 350s that had 31. All others 28

They look the same as the 31 spline axles used in 1968 to me. Typically found in GT500 / GT500KR / 428CJ Mustangs and GT-E Cougars. One of yours shows a date code of 8A. I suspect that's January 1968.
Also 68 GT 350

Unrestored is a broad paintbrush. Likely decal was changed by PO just like hose clamps at filter

Like Bob said but exception for nj cars is strut arm to control arm bolts. Both wrap around side of bolt

The reproduction emblems are very good but yes I can easily spot differences to oem. Most couldn’t unless side by side

A friendly reminder that you know where one is, I sent you pictures of it and would be willing to remove it from one of my cars. Never heard back from you?
Hi, I did get your message. You were trying to call me. For some reason your number was coming up as spam. I replied, but for some reason we’re not connecting. I would love to buy yours. I will try texting or emailing you again.

The other issue you may have issues work is a lot of competent shops don't want to take on work with work and components they don't know history of. It seems like everytime I take on a project started or recently restored by another shop it turns into a nightmare. I feel bad because the customer has already paid for work done only to learn it needs to be re done. I don't take them anymore.
