That would be a great help if you could re-post again. I have also tried to find on CMF but have not had any luck. I must not be using the right search words. Thank you

I have a 66 gt350h blue and gold. I was told that the body side inside of the brake scoop is supposed to be painted black and not body color. I am tryoing to find out where the black paint should start.

Does anybody make these gaskets? If not what material should be used to make them?

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Door End Caps

Trying to find out if the door end caps that snap into the jam area of the door to cover window hardware should be painted body color or left the plated finish. I am thinking that they should be left plated finish.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Engine Temp Issues
July 13, 2019, 10:48:53 PM
Looking for advise on what could be causes and fixes to running hot/overheating. Just finishing up last details and starting to drive 6S1164 after restoring it and have run into a problem. The car is running hot when I drive it. Takes about five to ten minutes of driving around and engine temp on the gauge has the needle running at the middle to far right of the "M" and up towards the "P". When shot with a heat gun reads about 200 on the water pump and around 210 on the front of the heads. When I stop and shut car off pushes a little coolant out, about half a cup or so. The engine has been completely rebuilt to stock specs, has a 160 degree thermostat, has original radiator that had to be re-cored, along with the heater core, correct hi-po water pump and original aluminum 4 blade fan and re-pop fan shroud. It also has an original rebuilt C6ZF-F flat top autolite carburetor.  Timing is actually set 2 degrees retarded for stock specs and running a pertronix electronic ignition. I am running Evans Waterless Coolant.

If anyone has any advise it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Jason

May 13, 2019, 01:25:33 PM
I am getting ready to clean up and re-paint my jack for the trunk and wanted to find out what the correct sheen of black is. It looks to be gloss but not 100% sure.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / vent window glass frames
April 15, 2019, 11:57:21 AM
Redoing the vent window frames and wanted to find out if anybody knows somewhere or somebody that can put new pivot blocks on my original frames. The stainless frames are in excellent shape but the pivot blocks that go up into the outer frame are in poor share.
Thank you.

March 27, 2019, 06:35:53 PM
Redoing the seats for my car and wanted to find out if anyone knows where to get the rods that weave through the burlap. If they are not available does anyone have a recommendation of what can be used to recreate them.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Vent window seal
March 04, 2019, 08:47:53 PM
Looking for some advise on what to use on my vent window to seal the glass in the pivoting frame. I took everything apart to re-chrome and polish everything and now I have the seal that goes into the main frame that mounts to the door but can not find any one that makes the seal for the glass to the pivoting frame. Looking for some help please. Thank you.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Left hand outside mirror
February 15, 2019, 02:48:26 PM
I am in the process of finishing restoration of the LH outside rotunda mirror for 6S1164 and need to replace the glass. It had been broken some time in the past and was replaced by a cheap stick on mirror. I wanted to find out if anyone can tell me the outside diameter of the glass so that I can have a new one cut from the glass shop. Thank you.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Tachometer compatability
February 10, 2019, 05:38:54 PM
I have just got 6s1164 back running again. All the gauges are working except the tach. When we rebuilt the motor we decider to put a pertronix module in the distributor instead of the dual points. I have seen where some say that the tach will not work with pertronix and that it will. Looking for a definitive answer. Thank you.
