The car is number 3081, I have had it since 1986. I feel like I will put it on the car at this point.

Concours Talk / Export Brace
May 30, 2023, 08:14:35 AM
Hello everyone, perhaps you can help me out here. I have a 67 GT500 and have had a few different export braces in the garage over the years. The interesting one (that I believe came on the car 37 years ago) has 8 holes, 4 that alight for an earlier car 65 66 and 4 that align with the 67 etc. Has anyone ever seen this? Perhaps it was a leftover at LAX that got redrilled or something? The picture is in primer and a little hard to see, sorry.

Jeff Stephens did my 67 wheel, the job was only okay, he replaced a piece of wood and the color was quite different. I called him and he said to stop by when in the area (I drive by there on my way to Ithaca once in a while). Then Covid hit and afterwards I haven't been able to reach him.

Is that pat number on the pulley? If not, how is it identified? What is the diameter?

Hello everyone, does anybody have info about the type and placement of these on later 67 cars (#3081)?
Thank you.

Thank you all so much, that is great information. I was also wondering about where the hoses come together by the rubber block/support bracket. Does anyone have any pictures or info of that area?

Thanks again.

Bob, I'm just curious. With the original setup was there an actual PCV Valve or was this just a crankcase vent? If so was it the "usual" valve or something else?
Care to post a picture?
Thank you.

Hello Everyone, I am a long time Shelby owner (1967 GT500 # 3081) but new here. I am assembling the power steering cooler and hoses. I found a few pictures by searching the site but would love a few more. Does anyone have a few to post here? Thank you so much.

The one picture shows a horn hanging from the hood pin bracket, has anyone seen this before?
