VW has the rights to the Scout name.  They are building a 2 billion dollar plant in SC to make the Scout again.  I read where they will be 100% EV.  Good Luck!

No idea who owns 212

I was at that auction and looked 212 over very well.  That was not a real sale!  No one was bidding on that car.

You can bet on that

I have a shelf full of original 289 Cobra grilles. And a vibratory pen....hmmmm...oh, crap, guess I can't do that now! ;)

But your grills are probably not bent!  Where else is a guy to find a bent original Cobra grill!!!??

I was the original poster. I deleted it earlier today because I felt it had been commented on enough and I didn't want to perpetuate negative comments. Now it looks as though deleting the post is causing more issues. I just come here to see posts about old original Shelbys, they've been my obsession for about fifty years. I really don't take these forums all that seriously, although I know a lot of people do. I just want to see pictures and hear stories about classic Shelbys......

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So lets start with "how much do they cost?"

Because Im guessing you could buy a real one for the price

It says Base Price is $214,500.

That base price does not include an engine or Trans.  It says that is the responsibility of the owner!  I will bet you your all in price would be around $300,000, if you want any options.
