Just to add, if you replace the fuel bowl screw sealing washers best to use the original style rather than the hard nylon type.

Wouldn't a chemical chassis bath neutralize those problems? If it were my cars that's the route I would go with photo documentation of the entire teardown.

That video is a bit grainy but starting at 1.45 to 2.00 the center caps are visibly aligned with the valve stems with the coiled base closest to the stem. What do you guys see?

I find concours cars fascinating and knowledge gained by this pursuit. The market prices don't shock me anymore. Everyone can do their own thing in this hobby.

Maybe it's a strategy to make EVs appear less expensive by comparison.  California you know.
