Wanted to Buy / Re: 67 Shelby Parts for 289

You will need to research whether your build calls for thermactor or non-thermactor emissions C7 Hipo heads. What is the date range on  the heads you want? You will need to add to your search list a correct HiPo dizzy dated prior to engine assy date. You can add that after the engine is running as far as that goes. Same with carb and fuel pump.
good luck

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Tim Allen's GT350H

In more than one interview, actor Tim Allen himself, repeatedly claims to have 1 of 50 "Hurst" 4 spd Shelbys in his  prized collection. Pitifully misinformed to say the least. Though commonly referred to as a Hurst, rarely does a collector fumble over his own car collection.

Anyway curious as to what prod number is his Hertz GT 350H that he claims can not get "out of it's own way".

Charles,   Plan to experiment but thought about wetting a new one to stretch it on and then let dry out to contract in place.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / replacement leather gas cap seal
« on: June 01, 2022, 09:52:32 AM »
In need of a replacement leather gas cap seal similar to original. All I see now available is rubber, touting made in USA and just like original...sorta kinda.

Are these available currently in leather or do I have to trace one out and DIY?

Thx Ray

Was the Ford window sticker displayed along side the SA sticker?
