Is the A/C control panel on the lower left (driver's side) of the dash supposed to be painted brown?  The other dash panels seem to have a woodgrain insert, but the control panel on mine looks brown.

I see repro woodgrain decals for the control panel for sale.  Are those just restomod items to give it a "better" than new appearance?

Can anyone give me an approximate minimum height the interior of the convertible top should be above the roll bar at the center of the roll bar with the top up?  My top seems a little low and I think one of the convertible top bows might be tilted a little downward and need adjustment.  Also, is there any good reference on convertible top adjustment for a '68?

Was there ever a ram air setup available on the GT 500?  I think the answer is no, but I wonder why not because there was a ram air setup available on the 1967 427 8V Fairlane.

This is the plastic lens for the light inside the console storage compartment.  I have what I think is the original lens, but it is chipped.  I found a repacement that fits, but it looks different.  Can someone please post a photo of an original?  Thanks in advance!

It seems that some tachometers have the redline and others do not.  Was it a mid-year change like the recessed rear quarter panel reflectors?  Was the redline only on later built cars?  (Maybe it was added mid-year to cut down on warranty repairs!)
