Wanted to Buy / '67 GT-350 Distributor
March 02, 2019, 06:12:30 PM
Thanks for looking.

I need a 12/66 to early 2/67 dated HiPo distributor.

Or,

I could use a 3/67-4/67 dated distributor (to trade for the date I need).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks again.

Hi All....my friend just drove from Chicago to St. Louis to look at a '66 Mustang Convertible. I could not go with her and I do not want her to be misled.

Does anyone know someone good in that area who can look at it tomorrow?

Thanks,
Nick

In my opinion, they will never be a '67 Shelby. I don't mean to nit picky. Its a clone/replica, whichever term you prefer, of the original car of which there is only one.

"The 1967 Shelby Super Snake continuation cars will use 1967 donor Mustangs and include a Shelby serial number for the official Shelby registry."  I don't approve of that either.

The Lounge / Undercoating Recommendations

My '66 Mustang Coupe did not have protection applied under the new front fender after I had the car painted...it's raw steel. What product or process do you like? I'll probably apply it to all of the wheel wells do it looks nice, even and fresh.

3m rubberized? Something else?

I won't drive it in the rain, intentionally, and I never take a hose to my car. I use waterless washes.

Thanks,
Nick
