SEVSAAC held its December meeting by starting at Greg and Kristie Bradner's house, as the club has done every year since the late 1980s.  The weather and some medical issues kept a number of members from attending, but we still had a good group show up and go for a nice drive.  The weather was warm but slightly wet from an earlier rain.  After meeting in Yorktown, we drove the Colonial Parkway to Charly's Airport Restaurant in Williamsburg for lunch and  then took the ferry to Surry and Smithfield.  We ended up at the Farmer's Table where everyone talked awhile before heading home.  Tim and Leslie Kilinski drove their long-time-owned and high mileage 1966 GT-350;  Wayne and Nita Taylor drove their four speed 1968 GT-350; Larry Barnett drove his 1967 GT-350 from Richmond; Joe and Polly Robinson drove their truck; and Kristie and I drove our 40-years-owned 1966 GT-350H.  It was a nice day for a drive that ended up being about 70 miles.

Several members of the retired division of SEVSAAC - Tim and Leslie Kilinski in SFM6S336, Greg and Kristie Bradner in SFM6S846, and Gil and Julia Portalatin in their 2015 GT350 - did a 140ish mile round trip drive to lunch on the James River in Hopewell, VA today. Despite some classic Virginia summer heat, everyone enjoyed the drive and camaraderie. Thanks to Tim for setting it up.

The Southeastern Virginia chapter of the Shelby American Automobile Club (SEVSAAC) held its December meeting at Greg and Kristie Bradner's house last weekend.  This meeting always includes a drive on some lovely area roads.  Dave Redman brought along some photo albums that covered the last 30 or so years of club activity.  Everyone enjoyed looking through them.

Although the weatherman predicted rain, we had two 1966 Shelbys: Greg and Kristie Bradner's red/gold SFM6S846, and Tim and Leslie Kilinski's white/blue SFM6S336, and Bill Saddler's modern GT500,  take to the road despite the rain.  The weather kept some of the usual other cars away, but after a light lunch at the house, the group left to drive the Colonial Parkway to the Jamestown Ferry and over to Surry and Smithfield.  Lots of pleasant conversation and cruising.
