Wanted to Buy / '69-'70 shelby GT500 starter
April 24, 2024, 04:58:44 PM
Looking for a C8AF-11001-A starter for my '70 GT500 428 CJ.  Car was built June 12, 1969. Sold at Galpin Ford in LA. Need a date of April/May of 1969 but willing to take a date before those mentioned. Thanks in advance for your help.

Looking for a set of original rear shocks for my GT500.  I know its a stretch but thought I would see if someone might have a pair they would part with.

thanks

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 GT 500 Brake Booster
May 08, 2019, 08:08:59 PM
Does the power brake booster have the Midland name embossed somewhere on the body to identify it as the Midland manufacturer? Or was a tag attached with C-4262-M on one of the securing bolts?  Recently picked up a booster for rebuild and was told it came off a '67 mustang.  The booster does not have any identifying marks to suggest it was a Midland.  For all I know it could be a NAPA brand.  Hate to send it out for rebuild if it isn't correct. Thank you for your help.

I'm in the process of rebuilding the shifter in my car.   Have it dismantled and ready for plating. Was wondering if someone could provide the correct platting of the shifter control, shift rods and bracket to attach the control to the transmission?
The shifter box and arms appear clear cad or zinc?  The rods look like phosphate and oil and the bracket was painted black. Don't know if the previous owners had done an prior work.  Thank you for your help.
