Looking for a Ford oem 65 66 passenger side upper roof rail sash. This is the piece that goes on first before the stainless steel piece that holds the weather-strip. weather-strip channel. This is the metal channel that is riveted to the roof above the door window.

I thought I found a good one but it is reproduction and does not fit correctly.

What are people using for the rubber or butyl seal that goes on the wing window glass where it attaches to the stainless steel trim?

Looking for measurements from the pinch weld to the ground in front and at the rear of the rocker. Wanting to verify factory assembled ride height with stock wheels. I do recognize that the vehicles did not leave the factory with a full tank of gas which will effect ride height. Really looking to see if there is any difference from front to rear.

I am looking for close up pictures of original 66 Shelby hood pin clips for a car built in March of 66. Thanks in advance fort he help.

I have seen some that say made in Denmark. Are those reproduction?

Is the '66 grille finish the same as all '66 Mustangs? (Except that the edges of the grille where the horse and corral were mounted have had the black finish removed on the leading edge to match the rest of the grille?)

Looking for an original Ford 65/66 metal channel for the passenger side fastback door window opening. This is the first piece of metal that mounts to the car  before the second piece of metal channel is installed that holds the weatherstrip.

Did the 66 Hertz Shelbys with stripes built in March of 66 have the decal on the rear valence regarding removal of tie downs? Or, was it removed during the stripe painting and then not replaced?

I would like to know what suggestions members have on removing the top of door window stainless trim for 65/66. It looks like Ford San Jose used a rubber seal and maybe glue.

So the question is how to remove it an replace it on a new piece of door glass?

I have not seen the rubber seal listed in the manuals or in after market parts catalogs.

I have one set of 2 gold stripes and letters for the 66 GT 350H in an unopened box. I purchased these from Mustang Masters. These are now about $140 plus shipping for the ones Branda sells. Most other places have them for less but they appear to be out of stock.

$75 including mailing. Payment by check or PayPal friends and family.

Questions on SAI factory painted stripes:

Did SAI remove the windshield and back glass stainless trim before painting the stripes?

Did SAI remove the bumpers before painting the stripes?

Did SAI remove the wiper arms before painting the stripes?

Are there any historical pictures of the process?

Looking to borrow or buy a used rivit tool for installing the wing window rivits.

Hope its okay to use the word trans. Anyway, looking for pictures for if/how the transmission cooling lines attach to the block or anywhere else on a 66 Hertz car.

Also, were the line fittings installed in the radiator left natural finish or were they painted black as original from San Jose?

My car has two extra holes toward the firewall that are not for the washer bag which is mounted toward the front of the car. This is on a Hertz car built March of 66. The car shipped to Hertz with a two speed wiper and a washer bag and pump. I have also seen these mysterious holes on other Mustangs. Any idea why they are there?

What finish are the plugs for the upper and lower ball joints that came in the zerk fitting holes from the factory?

Looking for a NOS pair of Kelsey Hayes disc brake retaining shields that mount by two bolts to the top of the KH calipers.

What colors of stripes were on the driveshaft from front to rear, near the rear end and what size width were the stripes?

Were there any paint markings on the rear shock support plates? If so, please describe.

Were there any paint markings on the strut rods? If so, please describe.

Is the strut rod finish bare metal?

I am using NOS door latches on a '66 Hertz car. These new in-the-Ford boxes have a Cosmoline coating.

Was this coating on the assembly line latches. If so, did it leave Shelby that way?
