I have never been to an SAAC event. Just curious, how large is the car show? Will there also be a swap meet?

Need a pair for a 1968 convertible shoulder belt. Should be same as fastback.

Are the retractors for the convertible shoulder harness the same as other era Fords (except for logo) or are they Shelby unique? Looking for a pair....

Has round top "3"; looking to trade for a flat top 3 for my early '68. Very good original condition. PM if interested and we can swap pics.

Does anyone have a photo or a diagram showing how the vacuum actuator/bracket/solenoid attach to the underside of the dash? The assembly manual shows the single-bolt mounting tab attaching to "something", just not sure what that is.

I have received two replies to want ads that I have posted. One was from a guest user; the other from a brand new member. The text in both replies was identical and refered me to a non-member email address. I replied to one with a bogus technical question and the reply I got was "yes, that's what I have". FOUND Need console insert, top seal below radio, complete lid or embossed covering, source for correct material to re-cover sides/rails. I have a good upholstery shop that can match the stitching. Would consider complete console if there is one out there.

I'm installing a set of Kevin Marti ignition wires. Wondering if anyone has a picture of the correct routing, over/under etc and which cylinder gets the wire with the sleeve and angled plug? All my searching has only found picures with air cleaner installed. I've managed to make it look pretty but would I like to get it correct.

I'm putting together my J code and have a few questions on assembly:

1. The AMK bolt kit has 4 studs and 8 bolts. Location of studs? What color are bolts; painted, natural or black phophate (as shipped)?
2. Carb spacer: natural or painted?
3. Valve cover bolts - natural or painted?
4. Tstat housing & bolts -natural or painted?

My original column is rough and needs a total rebuild, plus it's missing some unobtanium parts. Found a 1967 that's completely restored for a fair price. Are there any differences besides the color of the vacuum motor?

After a 6 year endeavor, I finally secured this GT350 4SPD Convertible. Red/black/white top. Had been sitting for 30+ years after someone started a restoration and didn't get very far. It had never been restored previously. Most of the original Shelby bits are there, but they are in pretty rough shape. Thank you to all on this site, along with the registrar and Kevin Marti for guiding me in documenting it's authenticity. My journey continues! PS newbie here as well as a newbie Shelby owner.

Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum. I purchased my firan original 68 GT350 convertible basket case. All original parts are there except engine/trans. I plan on doing a full and correct restoration, but with the drive train long gone, here is my question: In terms of value and resale, am I better off sourcing a date correct J code/T-10 or a more powerful and fun to drive 330 or 347/5spd set-up (my initial preference)? I do plan on keeping engine bay as stock as possible. Thanks!
