Came across this one a couple of days ago at my local beverage outlet, I'm just East of Toronto, Canada.

Would have got the VIN, but it was obscured by a piece of tape

Is it possible we can get this resolved, been close to a week now ?

Can't post images, I know it can be done through the gallery, (propayne) has been kind enough to post the instructions THANKS !

but I have tried half a dozen times and can't get it to work, too many steps, and it has been noted that I am not alone being

frustrated with the gallery method.

It's so much easier to attach an image to a post, one step

Just came across this, not the best quality,  not sure if it's been here before ? Film of Ken Miles testing the GT40 at Willow Springs.

At the start that is supposed to be Miles arriving in the Cessna. Some footage of a Mustang notch chase car, I think filming the aero

test.

Also couple of photos taken of the Ford, the poor one is a Polaroid discarded by the Shelby/Ford crew that the OP picked up off the

ground

This was my first event after I joined the club in 1987, I'll post the photos I have, no particular order, just as I have them in the

photo album, may not be sharp as I didn't want to pull off the clear on those old albums, it never sticks back down properly.

Was it really thirty-four years ago !

I'm sure some here can I.D the cars, and maybe some of the younger people !

There's a new book on Ken Miles coming from Dave Friedman. I'm not sure how much new information there might be, but

Friedman has a huge inventory of photographs from the Shelby years, many that have not been seen before. He was the official

photographer for Shelby American I believe ?

I remember that cover photo on the last page "Slightly Modified" of Sports Car graphic back in the day with the caption something

like " give me that trophy you bloody colonial, it's mine !"
