For sale is a set of four Goodyear Speedway small letter tires (CC7EX). Still wrapped in the shipping tape. I have two sets of these and decided to only use one. Took a year and a half to get and now back ordered again. These are $500-550/tire depending on retailer. Sold.

I know the 68 GT350s used a C8ZE distributor with vacuum advance but was wondering if a C5OF dual point distributor could be made to work with an automatic 68 350?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / New Owner - 67 GT350 #2645
« on: January 30, 2021, 12:29:57 PM »
I am excited to share with everyone that I am the new owner of 1967 GT350 #2645.  I recently sold my 1966 K code fastback and it has been my dream since I was 15 to be a Shelby owner, so I started the search for one.  I was initially looking for a 1966 GT350 (since I've always had 65/66 mustangs) but through some kismet I came across 1967 #2645 via word of mouth from my father.

2645 is a moss green, 4 speed, with magstars and thermactor.  The car is unrestored and still wears its original paint, interior, and drivetrain. All the correct hard to find parts are there. Even the original Goodyear Speedway spare tire is still in the trunk along with the original trunk mat, etc. Most interestingly, the original Ford door tag was found under the carpet.

It has a documented ownership history and is a life long CA car with the original black plates from 1967 still on it.  Each prior owner took care to keep the car original and true to what a 1967 Shelby is.

It should be arriving next week and my plan is to clean and detail the car up and replace the minor incorrect items such as coil and starter solenoid with originals and then drive it. My 3 year old daughter is already looking forward to rides in the new "mustang."

Looking forward to being a part of the Shelby community and expanding my knowledge of 67s.

Without further ado, here are some photos of it.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 1967 GT350 with Thermactor Coil Mounting Location
« on: January 25, 2021, 03:52:00 PM »
I am trying to confirm the correct coil mounting location for a GT350 thermactor (non-AC car).  I've seen it in several locations and think that either on the passenger side head (if there is enough space?) or intake is correct. Thanks.

Parts For Sale / 1966 Shelby GT350 EFFPI "OTC" Wood Steering Wheel
« on: August 27, 2020, 01:57:20 PM »
For sale is an original 1966 Shelby "Over the Counter" wood steering wheel manufactured by EFFPI in Italy.

There were several iterations of this wheel, this version is the 2nd generation/middle version with welded on cancel pins on the back and black boots at the end of the spokes (see last pic for the different versions). This style wheel would have been available in 1966 to purchase as opposed to the later 1968 and on style. The wheel was professionally restored by Jeff Stephens last year and has not been installed since the restoration.  This is an extremely nice steering wheel. SOLD.

Also, for anyone who is curious, the photo comparison of the three wheel types was put together by Cory (6S1640).
