I have been using this product to remove cad and zinc plating from hardware that I want parkerized.

You could use the product found at most hardware or grocery stores also called Lime-Away.
Soak the parts and rinse with clear water.

The Lounge / Re: Ford Experimental -Concept Vehicles

^^^^ That's cool it's still around.  Didn't know it had been in the Joe Bortz collection.

I was wondering if is/was drivable, or just a roller as many show cars were, then the article in your link answered that question.  Thanks.

When I saw the car it was not in the Bortz collection, Joe might have owned it before I saw it. I am not sure it was in drivable condition, it was in a warehouse with quite a few other interesting vehicles.

Wanted to Buy / Re: '67 R-Code Fairlane or Comet
« on: June 21, 2020, 10:53:41 PM »
I am not sure if this Comet is available, the owner mentioned in this article passed away since this was published. The Comet was originally ordered by my cousin who drove it on the street and raced it at “The Grove” (Great Lakes Dragaway) it once had the dealership name lettered on the doors, if you sanded through the existing paint the lettering might still be visible.
It is sad tho see the condition of the car, I remember it when it was new.

Services Offered / Re: Vapor Blasting Service

I have not tried it yet. My thought was  to apply it to freshly vapor blasts aluminum to preserve the finish. A test on various rubber parts may be in order.

Vapor blasting service for aluminum and other parts.  Make the parts look and feel new again.  Price depends on size and complexity of part, quantity discount.

How do you recommend the surface be protected after it is vapor blasted? I have heard that using
ACF-50  on the surface will help keep it from being stained by fuel, oil etc.
What is your opinion?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 67 PlazaGlas stickers

Hello Mike,
I received the Plaza Glas sticker, you did a phenomenal job duplicating them.
Thank You,
Was that your ‘65 GT350 at the show on Saturday on the island? My friend was there with the green coupe, big Hemi runs on Nitro or gas.

Jim

Which island? Sold the 5 awhile back.

I was referring to the benift car show that was held last weekend on HH Island. My friend was there and posted some pictures, one of the cars at the show was a ‘65 GT350. I thought maybe it was yours.

Please count me in for at least one.
Mine will be used on a A/FX hood for a Comet. (Not a Crites replica)
Thanks,
Jim
