At least be sure to get one that says "Shelby American" with a "n" on the end, not "Shelby America".

I saw the car in question about 10 -12 years ago at one of the SAAC shows. It was all dressed up as a Shelby and painted blue. The owner was handing out flyers.

Biggie...especially if someone put a SB Ford in the Miata.  Those are a helluva lot of fun!

Wurd!

The vice president of that new track is quoted in the article as saying, a Ferrari would never go out with an open wheeled car, Nor would , a Corvette, ever be out with a Miata.

………………
I would say that every track I’ve ever been to there is an open wheeled race car out there, which is at least as fast as the Ferrari that is out there. And I would say that every time there is a very quick Miata out there, there is certainly a Corvette. And to put things in perspective, I’m sure the open wheeled comment is “ speaking to”  performance not safety.
But even if it is speaking to safety, I can say that every single time I’ve ever driven Watkins Glen, which is perhaps the cream of the crop in the United States, there are open wheeled race, cars out there with every other variety of car, and speeds which reach 170 mph plus on the back straight. And we have been out there with the Aston Martin team practicing amongst us. And the open wheel race cars are very careful and we are very careful of any open wheeled car.
And I don’t like MiataS either, but don’t ever assume they’re slow if one is driving a Corvette.

No need to go to FL.   I do 170 on the LA freeways all the time. I think the average speed (not during traffic times...yes there are still some hours like that) is about 90 mph.

You need one with a cast iron tail shaft, and in R servo.
Probably $2000-$3000

I will take "things that don't exist" for $50, Alex  ;)

If you come up with that in the next two weeks, I will pay you the $50

That’s Sik!

One of my fond memories with KIWI, we would talk about lighting (for pictures/video/film) stuff. He would have been a very good Director of Photography if he had desired to go into film making. RIP KIWI, we miss you!

Thank you very much for that memory.
