I am amused by these type of surveys which are based on personal opions of the author that involve certain likes and dislikes. Everyone has their favorite places to live and places to visit and luckily we live in country that allows us to go where we want and live where we find the most fun.  If you aren't enjoying where you visit, don't go there, leave.  If you are stuck where it is no fun to live, do what you can to eventually move, if possible, but please leave your attitude behind and make the effort to have fun in your new home location.

Lots of companies are trying for the "fastest" electric car.
Fords van is not a aerodynamic super car style, why did Ford use a van?
They also ran off track using a different formula.

Why would they say up to 62 mph in less than two seconds.

Maybe it is the fastest>> and that's why they used 62 mph rather than 60 mph.[/color]
Puzzling in a way, any thoughts?
John

Better yet they should be concentrating on that the car requires 1.21 gigawatts ("jigawatts/jigowatts") of power and needs to travel 88 miles per hour (142 km/h) to initiate time travel.......MARTY  !

Not a picture, but here is a video posted on google of a walk through the concours area under the bleachers.
I wish there were more photos of all these beautiful Shelby cars.

Great video, love the sound of the cars on the track towards the end

Thanks for posting

Beautiful state,beautiful people.

Agreed Cali has great areas to experience,  P. C.H. Yosemite, Big Sur, Venice,  Shasta,  bumpass, the canyon in Jurassic park can't think of the name. But again I will stay where I'm at

Wow that's fast.

What wasn't mentioned is range. I wonder what it would be cruising from LA to Las Vegas at the defacto I-15 speed limit (75 mph)? Oh, that would also include running the air conditioning too.

Forget about range,  let's talk about the acquisition costs

On a side note:

You are being told to lower your AC usage on hot days to prevent overwhelming our existing electrical grid

While simultaneously being told to trade in your combustible fuels vehicle for an electric vehicle

Cool Van

And as a sidenote,…..nobody is interested in hearing about Tesla here…

Denial is like a cloud that obscures the sky. It blocks the truth. It reduces clarity.

That's  an amazing accomplishment for Ford

These are a bit quicker

2 - Tesla Model S comes with some ridiculous specs. The company says it can sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in 1.99 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph

1 - The Rimac Nevera is the fastest car from 0 to 60 mph.  Rimac says it’ll go from 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds and 0-180 mph in 9.3 seconds. The quarter-mile?
The Nevera tops the list of the fastest electric cars in the world with a top speed of 258 mph

Tony, thanks for posting.  As you know, I wrote that article.  It's been discussed on the forum a couple of times previously.

RPM still owns and drives it. Great guy and very mechanically talented. As his profession for 45 years, he's built every kind of power generation plant there is: Nuke, steam, hydro, gas, solar, etc.

He looks kind of like a 20-years-younger Clint Eastwood, but with a more-humble personality. Plus he lives & breathes 1967 Shelbys rather than cops and bad guys.

For the rest of you who haven't read the article, please have a look.
Van

By golly you did write it, most excellent  !

It's a great article,  a great car and the owner sounds like a great guy
