Does anyone repair fan shrouds. Mine has a crack on the top. Not sure the cause, maybe heat or age. I bought a new one, but it's a smooth finish. I was just seeing if this one could be repaired.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 GT500 Battery Question
February 25, 2023, 11:00:29 PM
I have a question about the battery in my 67 GT500. I need to replace it and have seen Autolite with and without red lettering on the side. Which is the correct battery replacement?

Got it just like you said. Thanks for the help. I would rather ask before breaking something unnecessarily. All is good just a burnt bulb.

How does the assembly come down? Does it snap out? I noticed it wasn't working today so need to check the bulb. Just not sure how it comes out since it is behind the lens.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Question about fuel filter
September 12, 2021, 09:02:51 AM
I just drained the tank and had the carbs rebuilt. The tank was clean, but the carbs were bad. My question is should I change the fuel filter while I have the car down. Just received the carbs back so everything is ready to go back together. If so what is the correct fuel filter that goes back on the car? I will post a picture of what I currently have on the car now.

I have the carbs off so what's the best thing to clean/polish the intake manifold. Secondly is there anything I can clean the plate with under the hood or just leave it alone. This looks to be the original plate. I can attach an older pic but it has both rev-its now only close up I have of it. I think the air cleaner is made of same material as intake but I never really cleaned or polished it either Roth that just dusting it off more less.

What do the original keys look like? Are they the Ford with Family of Fine Fords on back or Ford with the Mustang on the back? Want to order some original looking blanks. Suggestions on places to order are welcome.

Thanks for all the help. This forum is amazing. I changed the relay to get everything working for the upcoming weekend. I will order the manual. Should I go ahead and change the headlight switch as well? I am not sure how old the one in the car currently is.

Anyone have a wiring diagram? Should I ditch the relay? It was on here from something previous so wondering if it was overheating or something.

This is what is attached to the fog lights. So trying to find out where the issue is.

The inboard are not coming on with the high beams. The relay is not clicking. Where can I get another relay to start there?
