Thank you .
Yes, I saw that.
Very Strong Pricing Ask.
if he will even sell it to you. Are you a prior customer? My friend went to buy something off of him and Steve wouldn't sell it to him because he never bought something off of Steve. B9 part. This same friend has bought a LOT of parts off of here for his 68 Shelby and 69 Boss 429.
Then for $450.00 Steve can keep it  ;)

Thanks for the replies.

Was wondering about a ground issue too so will check that first. Also thought about a float hole but the gauge only drops when driving, seems stable when parked. Would a hole react like that?

If grounds look good I'll pull the sender and check that and the float. Been meaning to install the new gas tank anyway....
I would think if the float had a hole in it , it would fill with fuel and always read empty , if you're going to replace the fuel tank then replace the sender with it .

Mr Lincoln.  It still is, for a while longer, a free country.

As with buying anything, buyer beware, and, do your due diligence.

Can you just imagine the look on the customers face who just brought his vehicle into the dealership to get some warranty work done and you show him a print out that looks like this about his ride  ???

Why are insurance company's allowed to sell totaled vehicles at auctions ??????????? In my eyes once the vehicle is totaled and payed off it should go to the crusher. But NO !!!!!! some scumbag individual buys a damaged vehicle performs some Micky mouse repairs and sells it to someone that has no idea that he just purchased a POS with branded title, that's where I think the real problem is.

Buyer beware

The one in the picture on the bottom was given to me in mid 70's and it was in the Ford box so I believe it's a original replacement part , besides I don't think that at that time there was too many people making repros .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              What do you think about this one ? I think mine looks better  :-\ https://www.ebay.com/itm/265772279019?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050

Just replace the faulty part and recharge with 134A , no need to replace the whole system, don't forget === you can still buy R12 .
