Shelby American History / Re: Al grillo history
August 06, 2023, 08:17:50 AM
I live in Peabody Mass. which is next to the city of Lynn. I am fortunate to know a gentleman who was a mechanic at Grillo Ford and he has shared some very interesting memories with me. Shame on me I have not pinned him down to recored his recollections. This man is in his mid 70's so I need to get off my duff and do it.

He was kind enough to give me two of the four original dealer trunk tags that he still had. I shared photos of these tags with Pete several years ago but they never made it to his Al Grillo page...are you there Pete?...I can send you the pictures again ;D

Mr. Burgy wonderful pictures!...anyone know if the red 427 street Cobra belongs to David MacNeil (Mr. Weathertech)?

Well good to know you're still interested in literature Vern, I left a note on my special literature binder for my wife to offer you my Cobra Caravan Press Kit if I were to kick over suddenly ;)

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: Car no. 666?
May 23, 2022, 07:03:30 AM
I know both the gentleman who owns #666 and also the other gentleman who owns the black '67 500 next to it.
Both are long time owners. #666 has been his since 1976 I believe and the other 500 has been owned since 1969.
The black car was originally Britany Blue and he paid like $650 bucks for it. Both cars also have parchment interiors.
