Thanks folks - this was my first one, and it was fantastic! I did the Friday track sessions and Saturday car show, plus Thursday evening garage party (what a collection!) and the Friday banquet and heard the great Peter Brock speak. Hats off to all of the volunteers who made this a very special event!

I saw a link on Facebook - registration is now open. Will be registering for the track for Friday.

Really looking forward to this. I have a new to me 07 GT500, and is dialed in for the track. I ran Pitt Race last summer, and the car did great. That is a very good course (I have been running it for many years with both Mustangs and Porsches). It is more of a technical track, with our own little version of the famous Laguna Seca "corkscrew" (turns 3 and 4), which drops you down into Coyote Gulch. For those who have not driven this course, the definitive intro video was done by our local Track Guru Jack Neff (who runs a 66 GT350 each year at the Historics there at Pitt Race as part of the PVGP). Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3o-J6gcdnM.

I remember when it was here last time, a couple of years ago. I was between Mustangs, and just was kicking myself for not having one. I finally got ahold of one of my all time "Halo" desire cars - an 07 GT500, red. I can't wait to come this time with an actual Shelby! I will do the track events too. I have the car dialed in for it, as I do run it in HPDE's through the local Porsche Club (of which I am also a member). Pitt Race is my "home" track, and it is indeed a good one. It has attributes of being very technical (like Mid-Ohio) but also very fast, like Summit Point. Lots of elevation changes too, like the Glenn.
