Royce, ask all the people on your list who they think is in top 2-3.

Still can't stop laughing over Lottery winner Ringo Star.

I could probably fit him in the top thirty rock drummers of all time. Nowhere near the top ten. He just wasn't lucky enough to be with a band that made lots of hit records or lots of money. As a lyricist he was a bit unique among drummers but having to write lyrics for songs that usually didn't chart had to be a bit challenging.

Compare his drumming skills to Michael Shrieve of Santana. Or Ringo Starr. How about Charlie Watt? Maybe Ian Paice? What about Bill Bruford? Butch Trucks? Jai Johanny "Jailoe" Johanson? What about Aynsley Dunbar? Cozy Powell? Nick Mason? (He probably has a better car collection too!) What about Bill Payne? I am leaving out tons of very talented rock drummers. How about Dave Grohl? Maybe Don Henley of the Eagles?

I could easily populate the top thirty drummers of all time without Neal Peart being mentioned because after all his band was never one that sold lots of albums or made lots of hits. Do I like his taste in cars? Yes a lot!

Do I like Rush as a band? Yes but I would not consider them top of anything except maybe Canadian rock bands with ultra high octave vocals.

One of the best rock drummers or THE best rock drummer of all time?

Jon

Rings Star?

HaHaHa, wait, holy shit, HaHaHa hah!

You called yourself out when you equate skill to how much money the band made.

What a farcical commentary.

If I am not mistaken, the Miura was yellow when he got it. Of course the color change should not hurt it's value, maybe it will even boost it.

I am guessing the family is keeping his Z8.

Good luck on your new venture. Snag a partner when you can so you don't end up swamped with no time off.

And share costs

I always sang the song drove my Shelby to the Levee.

If they had driven a Ford to the Levee, they would have arrived before it had dried.

And the stamped Ford logo means over the counter replacement?

We're finally here.
Most all of the original owners, and the wrench-turning owner/racers of the 60s/70s, with their first-person accounts are dead.
Meticulously over-restored pieces of jewelry being hawked to collections, the likes of which were never seen on the autocross/slalom courses of CalExpo, Lion Country Safari, Willow etc when these cars 'cut their teeth'.
A mention then of 'grp 2, day 2, concours, etc' would have gotten a befuddled blank gaze response.
Not a bad thing. Not at all. Other outstanding period metal has been bypassed by the collector world with nary a mention (or value).
I guess its time to jump on the concours restoration bandwagon. Belatedly!

You can still track your car, they track vintage Ferrari's worth more then twenty times the value of a 65 gt350.

True, but when one of those super valuable F-cars get banged up, does everyone wring their hands and complain that the car no longer has it's "born-with" parts or do they just fix it and move on?

🤔

4+ years for sale and still going.

As the dollar continues to plummet in value, he will soon realize his asking price.

Just trying to figure out what was nicer about it.

I think the one in the original post is pretty sweet and if it checks out, very reasonably priced.

Why not just give Van Jones a hundred mil. Oh wait a sec, already been done. How about '' The Kneelers" for a new title.

Bezos has Lost it. He thinks he can buy the love and adoration of the communist party, but they will always despise him and will cut his head off at their first opportunity.

Just like the communists have done to their middle and upper class supporters in every one of their revolutions worldwide.

Every one.
