I am going to be painting the interior pieces of my car soon and looking at paints.  Is there a preferred paint to use to match the original sheen?  The options I am told are acrylic enamel and Acrylic Urethane.  I know the pros and cons of each but most interested in the look and sheen.

I am very surprised to hear your experience with AAA. I use to rely on my insurance road side assistance and that was miserable. I started using AAA a few years back and have been exceedingly pleased. I have had at least 5 tows, a few dead battery calls and one keys locked in car when on vacation. They have always been extremely prompt and except for the cost of the batteries it has cost me nothing. I highly recommend them over insurance road side assistance.

I measure 3" between the top pin and each of the bottom pins and about 2.5" between the bottom 2 pins.

That is great information.  I bought a wood grain trim piece that goes over the glove box several years ago and it came with this badge attached.  I always wondered if it was an original.  I really assumed it was not.  But from Tim's description it sounds like it is.  I do not have a KR and most likely never will but its still a cool display piece.

I bought a Shelby out of Canada 9 years ago and it could not have been easier.  I had no issues whatsoever.

i received mine yesterday as well.

She sure is. She is 17 and ready to learn. My 3rd daughter is in the other back seat. I taught her to drive stick 12 years ago but she did not do it enough for it to stick.
