It was actually more of a vintage Porsche event, but they're were also a couple nice Ferraris there

And one of my favorites was the Chris Bannings king of the Hill car a custom 911 Porsche ,this car was infamous. If you're from SoCal or used to drive the Mulholland roads (which I still do in my 911)this car used to terrorize the Mulholland highways back in the day ,some movies and documentaries about it out there ,back when it was just a great underground racing scene, unlike today ,where they got it all shut down as often as possible by CHP the snake is a mess now.

Yeah, I ended up going. It was amazing that the weather cleared up for about 4 hours and it was just perfect, I took my Ford GT and it was pretty nice. I was able to meet Camilo Pardo and he signed my car and I got to chat with him for about 10 minutes next to my car which was really cool. It was my first time visiting the museum and that place really is amazing and I didn't even do the basement tour which I guess has another 250 cars but you have to pay extra for, here's a few of my pics, including a couple of Steve McQueen's cars ,his Jag XJS was to die for.

Bummer looks like it's gonna get rained out on Sunday, but I do say rain or shine not sure I'll be taking my GT in the rain

The Northwest Shelby collection didn't seem to make the broadcast at least not in my area ,they ended  right as they were coming up the staging area's,they showed the yellow kR with the hood up & it had a GT500 air cleaner set up  & a painted black taillight panel.

I just had  a fresh set of the recommended Bridgestone's put  on my (new to me) Gt ,the car came with the original Goodyears on it still ,which i kept for historical purposes .I figure i see people selling the original Goodyear speedways for our 67 Gt500's for show purposes ,so i might as well save these .
