hey guys I am running the correct repro speedway 15 inch tires none radials what a mistake any I want to drop the nose on the car at least 1 inch and I was talking to John at opentracker and he suggest I cut a 1/2 a turn of the front spring and dont even bother with a shelby drop since it wont really lower the car down by much I am thinking of putting these tires away since I want to drive the car and get some goodyears eagles also John sent me some new roller perches which are way nicer and closer looking to originals I just want to enjoy the car since I restore midyear and straight axle vettes its hard to drive the shelby any advice appreciated

my rear leafs are dead any recommendation on rear leafs would prefer to raise rear at least 1 inch from stock I know they can be rearched but am afraid it might come out too high or anybody bought new ones from eaton and hows the height

first thing is to try to get in touch with the seller and let him give you the rebuilders information and try to find out how qualified the shop is in rebuiding engines or maybe the person who sold you the car attempted it ,by seeing what poor engine shops have done this is the first thing to find out also you need engine specs to know whats in the engine bore ,valves ,cam if water jackets are clean rings incorrectly installed if not best thing is to do a tear down  :(

clearly in pics you can see a perfect bend done by hand and in his pic box is still intact and first thing out of his mouth is file a claim also on his web page he claims his the only legit guy with knowledge to fix these tachs which I found out is not true .I am going to get in touch with kens mustangs they restore cluster and seem much more legit meanwhile I think gary the tachman should be known on social media

first time he got the tach a few months ago charged 450 for a used unit and was very arrogant now tach kept getting stuck at 5 rpm sent back for warranty and claims fed ex must have mishandled box and bent tach and claims its not fixable just put a claim I wont use him anymore what a coincidence from his pics box is not bent would not recommend him now I have to find one >:(

it is the rearview mirror on the inside of windshield

before I send to restore my rearview mirror I just want to confirm I have the right one my car is a January 68 car and it has the mirror with knob c7zb also any suggestions to send to I looked up Joyce borrell mirrors restored in pa thanks

1 side is ign and 1 side is sender wire and when I only connect the ign wire then ground the body on gauge with no sender wire connected it pegs

I have 2 both diaphrams are good I opened 1 and the valve seems fine and the small black seal and it goes up and down with vacuum but it leaks at the bracket with the 3 small screws dont know if it had a gasket and fell apart
