For the brake proportioning valve- the body is painted black correct ? Are the threads and end cap also painted black ?

I just heard that Jim Cowles passed away this morning.  As you all know, Jim made a life of all things Shelby - he openly shared with all of us his vast knowledge and expertise.  It is a sad day indeed. He was a good friend. And will be missed by many.
Please pray for Jim's family, loved ones and all who knew hi in this time of grief.

What was the original finish for the parking brake equalizing bar, cable bracket and rod for a April '65 car?  Mine have been blasted and painted black.

My car had a mixed set of fender bolts from a prior restoration -

what is the correct fender bolt for a mid 65 GT 350?  Star washer or round? Head marking?  Any sources of correct bolts or a picture would be great   !

Bob and Charles - one more question on this - We read in the assembly manual  that the extensions were on the car when the car was painted at Ford originally (loose) - so should these nuts with flat washers  then have white paint overspray on them?

I have an original 2-65 G2 radiator, would like to trade for original 4-65 Komi shocks ( need full set) ,
