Thanks for the reply. Yes thats pretty much the same thing. The one i saw was the same as in photos i posted same wheels same paint job where as the one in your photo the front valance is silver however yeah it looks to be the same go-kart body just painted different and different style wheels. I would love to purchase a body from who ever makes them or whoever has one for sale spare so i could build one for my nephew.

Hello Everyone.
Thanks Mr Gaines, George Schalk and Rbwiii for all the information and photos. I have located the bolts. When i removed the shoulder harness's for some reason i didnt keep them with the harness and put them in a seperate zip lock type bag and didnt label them .I guess thats what confussed me and then made me think they maybe the same as the lap belt bolts. Thanks again for the help and photos.

Hello everyone. I am mounting the shoulder harness's back in a 67 Shelby. The question I have is do they use the same style seat belt bolt, as the lap belts that anchor on the floor pan to mount the retractors to the roll bar(gold cadmium hexagon head style). I have the Branda 67 Shelby assembly manual but its hard to tell. If any one can post a picture or help with information would be much appreciated.

Here is a second photo of what I remember seeing. I believe the photo of the two go karts was more similar to what I saw at Carlisle as those where the same wheels on the go kart I saw.

Hello Everyone. I am looking for some help or information if possible. I remember many years ago now maybe 2006 at the fall Carlisle car show I was walking around the car corral area and remember seeing a gentlemen driving a miniature gt350 go kart. I remember stopping the fellow and asking him if I could take a quick photo as I thought the go kart was cool. I have been trying to do some research recently and just wondered if anyone may know where I could purchase one of these go karts bodies for myself or if anyone on the forum has any information about them or maybe even has one themselves. I remember the one I saw years ago was white with blue stripes and was a good replica of a 1965 gt350. If anyone has any information please if you could post or pm as I would like to build one for my Nephew who is a mustang fan.

Hello Everyone. Thanks for the advice and help. I have managed to complete the task this evening and have everything back together all ok. I had already done exactly what you said Jeff about the screws and keeping everything in order. I managed to remove the top upper drivers side roof panel, then the hockey trim between the upper and lower front quarter panels followed by the removal of the sail vent panel. I then managed to loosen the screws and bolts holding the front lower quarter panel with the light in place and managed to reach inside and remove the earth wire to the light and unclip the old harness and slowly pull it through from the trunk. Then feed the new harness in from the trunk over the wheel arch through the quarter panel and followed the Osborn manual. All went great.

Keith I already have the drivers side seat out and the scuff plate off. I have routed the harness in the trunk first and clipped it into the hole in the drivers side rear quarter according to the Osborne manuals. I have managed to feed it to the top of the drivers side wheel arch from in the trunk. So I just need to route it from the wheel arch down past the roll bar through the drivers door post and along the drivers side sill. So I'm kind of just thinking what's the least I can remove (as the panels all align good and have been painted) to just get the large lower rear quarter panel with the interior light removed or pulled away enough to extend my arm in and route the wiring and connect the new earth wire for the light in the interior panel.

Hello everyone.
I am just looking for some advice and general information from people that may have done this before. I am installing a new taillight harness in a 67 Shelby, I have the Osborne manuals handy and understand how to install it and where everything goes my real question is how much of the rear interior do I have to disassemble to be able to feed the harness through to the trunk? Is it possible to remove the hockey rear interior molding that (goes behind the roll bar that covers the rear sail vent panel and rear lower quarter panel) and be able to loosen the screws that hold the rear sail vent panel and slide the rear lower quarter interior trim panel with the sail light down and out? or do you pretty much have to remove the two roof trim panels, then the sail vent panels and then the rear lower interior panels to be able to achieve the goal of feeding the new harness through?
The fold down seat is in the car however the base and back portion(the upholstered pieces are out) if that helps at all.
Just thought I would ask for some general help and advice and how people have approached this job before. I must admit removing all those panels seems daunting however what will be will be I guess.

Thanks Mr Gaines and JD for the information I have learned something new. Just out of curiosity What type of black paint was used inside the scoop/ satin black/ matt black /semi gloss black/ gloss black? Id guess the same as the Engine bay which I believe is semi gloss black.

I was always curious. I don't mean to go off subject here as I know this is the 68 Shelby section however what is correct for 67 lower and upper scoops? Blacked out inside the both sets of scoops as well or body colour? I have seen both body colour and blacked out on lots of restored cars and always curious what's correct. Sorry do not mean to get off topic.
