The man I hired to head up the restoration of my CJ cars(and a challenger) Told me Friday he had something for me...usually that is not a positive news item...However when he got to work today he calls me to come back to the Resto shop hands me this...he says " it's been kicking around my house for about 40 years and I figure if I was gonna assemble it that thing would have been done by now..."
Since you've got one I thought you might like to have it....SWEET!

I have a wood shifter, came in a box of parts I got with my 68 vert gt350... I don't think 68's came with the wooden shifter so once I confirm that I'd let it go..it has the snake on it...

Well,my car has a cassette deck in it now, would I get more points for an 8 track???(because I have one in my closet) Do I get extra points for the 6x9 speakers that a pot cut out the rear interior panels for? I already have a hurst shifter in it but will a novelty shift knob up my point total?  :o

Sparkomatic power booster with pioneer TS-X9 speakers sitting on the rear shelf...sliding around at every curve in the road...

Unless the track has specific rules concerning concession vendors it is quite simple problem. I worked for a guy that ran some of the largest Harley rallies Round the country. He called local "food truck" vendors and asked if they want to sell their products to a couple thousand (usually much more) hungry show attendees. They all showed up...food, drinks, no problem. No charge to you and they are primarily self comtained...

I actually love the idea that there is a certain sense of uncertainty surrounding this car. It piques my interest that there could be a possibility that this car is still "with us".... Jim too...lol!

...then I come back to the shop and get told that my car was in the way so they backed it up....ugh....

What is a normal average days usage of potential vehicle? I think if it was a "commuter" of 50 miles per day or more it would be different than just used for running "local" errands...I work 8 miles from my home, so I wouldn't need to be concerned with certain amenities that I would if I commute.  Just curious...

There is only one way to do it...no shock towers...DSE front suspension...I'm building a "tribute" '66 with a FPC engine right now...I just need to leave it alone I guess... I'm very familiar with modular transplants...it's a lot of cutting up... the last one is the current project...the others are modular engine '69's...

This new forum would prolly be the only place I'd be able to visit once I make the decision to drop a 5.2 FPC drivetrain in my '68 vert #2626....still on the fence...32k orig miles is the biggest roadblock... I'm definitely a mod kinda guy...

^^^what he said!^^^^ I'm confused...
